To use light and absolute white to create emotions: this was the request made by Amnon Barzel - the collection's curator - to some of the most successful artists on the international contemporary art scene. A "provocation" born not only out of a desire to explore the fascinating relationship between shape and light and to initiate a reflection which would cross the border between art and science, but also, and most importantly, to become an invitation to conjure up magic, using this color - with its mysterious and archetypal power to arouse strong sensorial and psychic reactions - as an ally.

The LIGHT SCULPTURES collection works draw a comparison, in dialectic terms, between the emotional language of light and the emotional language of color. The result cannot help being a continual surprise, which, - according to individual experience - goes beyond the mechanisms and physical theories at the basis of perception. We hope that this "white", which is the sum of all the colors on the chromatic scale made perceivable by light, will provide you with the very best of emotions!
